If you have ever wondered what life was like and how everyday habits unfolded in old Nicosia, then an upcoming workshop could answer your questions. Better yet, it will show you! The Creativity Centre of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia will embark on a time-travelling journey to ancient times.

The Resident of Ancient Ledras For a Day workshop will take children (aged six to 12) on an imaginative voyage and transform the museum’s centre into a buzzing town workshop.

On June 21, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, the workshop draws inspiration from unique ancient objects in the museum’s collections. Through a series of activities, children will become ancient craftsmen – working with ceramics, paints and textiles – and will make crafts from the everyday life of a different era. Just a few spots are available for the workshop, which will be held in Greek, so those interested are advised to book soon.
