A few days before the start of the new racing season, Vladimiros Tziortzis unveiled his brand new car, the HTFX Ford Mustang V8, at an event held in France at the Circuits De Vendee Fontenay-Le-Comte track, with his new team, Speedhouse.
The 28-year-old Cypriot will compete in the NASCAR Euro Series for the sixth consecutive year, competing in the PRO category for the third consecutive season. The number 64 will be inscribed on the doors of his new car.
“I am grateful that for another year I will represent Cyprus in the NASCAR Euro Series. I am more ready and more determined than ever and, with the team’s commitment, I am confident that we have a common goal, the European title, to which we have been very close in recent years,” said Tziortzis during the presentation of the car.
“Representing my island, Cyprus, from 2020 in a championship certified by the FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile), makes me even stronger and I am ready to bring the European trophy to my hometown, Nicosia.”
He took the opportunity to thank his sponsors and family. “A huge thank you to my Platinum sponsor, HTFX, as well as my supporters, Alco Filters, Psaltis Auto Parts,Panayiotides Gifts, Televantos Used Trucks, Daytona Raceway and Sana Hiltonia, as well as my family, without whose support I would not have been able to get this far.”
Also present at the presentation was the Executive Director of HTFX, who noted: “HTFX stands for the second year alongside the efforts of our compatriot, now as a Platinum Sponsor, in the NASCAR Euro Series with the main goal of winning the title. We wish him every success in the season, but also in the first race in Spain, as it is also his favourite track.”
The opening race of the season will take place at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Spain on the weekend of April 12-13, while races in Italy, UK, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Germany and Belgium are next on the calendar.
