Wine Tasting Workshop – “Cyprus in a glass”! SUNDAY 4/5/25 - 11:00

The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the author and educator Florentia Kytheotou, invites you to the second workshop of this trilogy, a journey into the world of the Cypriot vineyard on Sunday 4 May 2025.

Through an interactive presentation and guided tasting of 6 Cypriot wines, participants will learn about the long history of Cypriot wine, the indigenous grape varieties and their unique characteristics.

The program includes:

– Meet the trainer Florentia Kythreotou

– PPT presentation: ‘A brief history of Cypriot wine’

– Introduction to the Cypriot vineyard, the native Cypriot varieties and their special characteristics

– Tasting of six selected Cypriot wines from Cypriot varieties

Florentia Kythreotou is a writer and wine and gastronomy educator with a wealth of writing and extensive experience in the fields of food, culture and education. She holds the international WSET Level 3 (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) qualification and is a certified trainer by the Human Resources Development Authority (HRD).

The workshop will be held in Greek language with the option of simultaneous translation in English if needed
