Cyprus’ next parliamentary elections will be held on May 24, 2026, the interior ministry announced on Tuesday.

The parliament will be dissolved on April 23, 2026, and the proclamation of the elections will be made through an interior minister decree, to be published in the official gazette on April 24, 2026.

Candidacies will be submitted on May 6, 2026, according to the interior ministry.

The date for the elections was fixed in collaboration with the parliament, the presidency and the police.
