A bomb exploded at a pub in the Limassol suburb of Ayios Athanasios in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The police said the explosion occurred at around 1.10am in front of the pub’s entrance, describing the explosive as a “low-powered improvised explosive device”.

The explosion caused minor damage to the front of the building.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
