A 57-year-old man was sentenced to two years in prison after being found guilty of possessing two kilograms of cannabis, as well as a “small amount” of cocaine.

The sentence was handed down at the Famagusta permanent criminal court in Paralimni.

The man had been arrested on February 1 after a search of his car in Larnaca had turned up the cannabis and the cocaine.
