The first Christmas Village in Paphos will open its gates this Saturday in Statos–Ayios Fotios, where it will operate till January 6.
The initiative was announced by the Statos–Ayios Fotios community council, the deputy tourism ministry and the Aphrodite development company Ltd.
Visitors will be able to take part in at least four educational and experiential workshops aimed at both children and adults.
The festive programme will include musical ensembles, choirs, live music and theatrical performances, alongside a range of entertainment activities.
Handmade crafts and local products will also be available to the public.
The village will run from November 22 to January 6.
Opening hours are set at 11am to 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, while on December 12 and 19 it will open from 10am to 7pm.
Weekday hours between December 22 and January 6 will also be 11am to 7pm.
Operating times for Christmas and New Year’s Day will be announced in due course.
