Bookings for the summer ferry route between Limassol and Piraeus started at 10am on Wednesday morning.

The tickets will be available via official booking channels with agents recommending early bookings due to high seasonal demand.

The AF Marina is the only maritime connection between Cyprus and Greece, and will run from May 29 to September 1.

The route connects the ports of Limassol and the Athenian port Pireaeus, with a journey time of 31 hours. Ticket prices start at €40 per person.

The AF Marina takes over from the Daleela ferry, which operated the route under the same contractor for four consecutive seasons.
