Fifteen-year-old singer and performer Ciara Economopoulos (Ciarae) delivered a standout performance at the iconic Teatro Ariston in Italy, proudly representing Cyprus on the international stage at the 17th edition of the Sanremo Junior World Finals 2026.
Selected as one of just 24 finalists from more than 1,000 applicants worldwide, Ciarae performed alongside a live orchestra, on one of the most prestigious international stages for young talent, as a cultural ambassador for the island.

Taking place over April 14–19, 2026 in Sanremo, the internationally acclaimed competition brought together some of the world’s most promising young vocalists. Ciarae rose to the occasion with confidence, stage presence and professionalism, delivering a powerful and memorable performance that reflected both her passion and artistic growth.
Her participation marks a proud moment for Cyprus, showcasing the country’s emerging talent on a global platform. Ciarae captivated audiences with her performance, further establishing herself as a rising young artist to watch.

Having already built a dynamic profile across singing, dance and performance, Ciarae’s journey to Sanremo follows her participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024, where she gained valuable international stage experience as part of Cyprus’ delegation.

Reflecting on the experience, Ciarae described it as unparalleled. “An unforgettable moment, words cannot describe how proud I am,” she shared. “Singing my heart out and being on that stage was truly something I will never forget. From the moment I stepped on stage until the moment I waved goodbye, I was in complete euphoria. Thank you to everyone who supported me and believed in me. I wouldn’t be here without you.”
Looking ahead, Ciarae is preparing for the next chapter of her artistic journey, with her debut single set for release in May 2026.
