According to the health ministry, data until August 9, showed that the percentage of first-dose jabs stood at 75.8 per cent and the number of fully vaccinated (18+) reached 68.5 per cent.

Vaccination coverage for children aged 16 to 17 years has reached 30.9 per cent with at least one does and the proportion of this age group that is fully jabbed stands at 19.3 per cent.

In younger children, whose vaccination started on August 2, the rate stands at 6.1 per cent with the first dose.
