The concert series of the soprano and piano duo Ekaterina Savva and Ivelina Ruseva continued and after the Italian Opera they will present a concert dedicated to well-known musicals, at Markideio Theatre, on Friday, May 13.
The two Paphos-based musicians, Ekaterina a graduate of the Mozarteum University Salzburg and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the experienced Bulgarian pianist Ivelina, return for a beautiful musical journey through songs which became history, melodies from musicals such as West Side Story, The Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, Evita, Wizard of Oz, High Society, Showboat and others that will take audiences to London’s West End and New York’s Broadway.
Later in the month, another concert is taking place in Paphos but this time in the garden of Technopolis 20. May 20’s performance not only highlights flute and percussion instruments but also introduces a brand-new local ensemble.
