Limassol police make headway with hooligan arrests

Limassol police made another arrest on Monday for the violent incidents that occurred on Sunday, December 4, which led to the cancellation of the Apollon-AEK match at Tsirio Stadium.

This is a 26-year-old man, who was accused in writing and is expected to be summoned before a court at a later date.

According to the police, after establishing the man’s identity and releasing his photo to the public, he was located and summoned to Limassol CID.

Two other persons, aged 44 and 26, have been charged in writing for the same case, while police continue to search for the two remaining suspects, whose photographs have been made public in order to gather information that may help to identify and locate them.
