On a mission to spread culture far and wide and engage citizens of all ages with art and the city, Nicosia 2030 is organising Photographing Nicosia this Saturday for children. In collaboration with the Little Artists association, Nicosia 2030 will take children on a photography walk designed for those in fourth to sixth grade of primary school.

The event will take place on Saturday from 3 to 4.30pm, starting from Caffé Nero in Eleftheria Square. Acclaimed photographers from the Nicosia branch of the Cyprus Photographic Society and other renowned photographers, will accompany the children, offering guidance as they capture artistic photographs of Nicosia’s old town.

Children will be divided into groups and must be accompanied by their parents throughout the walk. Each child should bring either a camera or a mobile phone. Then, they will be able to submit up to two photographs by February 28.

All photographs will then be published on the Nicosia 2030 and Little Artists official websites. The art-focused event is free to attend. As such, registrations will be on a first come, first served basis, completed online at https://forms.gle/XWwvTde8jjcdxuAN8.
