The Nicosia tourism board is bringing back the free tour guide programme, running from March 29 until December.

The tours include five routes highlighting the history and architecture of the city’s culture.

The Nicosia Walled City Tour, includes a tour of the old city, mediaeval monuments, Eleftheria square, the Venetian walls and Nicosia city hall.

The Archaeological Tour will take visitors into a journey of ancient Nicosia including with a visit the Cyprus museum and the Venetian walls

The City Museum tour will include other museums including the Leventis museum and Hambis museum.
On the Religion Tour people can discover the city’s religious history, through visits to important Christian and Muslim monuments.

Finally the Architecture Tour will show people the urban evolution of Nicosia, from the historic alleyways to modern architectural symbols such as Tower 25 and the 360 Building.
