A concert this weekend will offer intimate musical moments in a charming venue. The Commandaria Orchestra and the Cyprus Wine Museum in Erimi village present a concert that traces flute instruments throughout the ages.

In a magical evening of flute and piano, the musicians invite listeners to step into a musical time machine and will be transported from the Renaissance to the present day. International artists Florian Rabe on flute and Birgitta Birchall on piano will take audience members on a captivating journey through over five centuries of music featuring works by John Dowland, Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Reinecke and more.

The concert takes place at 7pm and has a €15 entrance fee, with proceeds from ticket sales going towards a charity. “This is more than just a concert,” say organisers, “it’s a cause. In partnership with CIWOT (Cyprus International Women of Today), all proceeds from this evening will support Room of Hope, a local charity offering holistic care to survivors of human trafficking in Cyprus. Unforgettable music, inspiring venue, meaningful impact. Join us for a night that touches both heart and soul.”
