The fire brigade will hold a fire and rescue exercise at the Vasiliko cement works premises near the fire station on Thursday, December 11, at 9am.

Part of its educational activities to boost preparedness, the drill will involve mobilising fire engines in the area, an announcement said. 

Authorities reassured the public that there is no cause for concern.
