A lorry, a trailer and a car were destroyed by a fire which broke out in an industrial area near Paphos on Saturday morning.
Police said they were informed of the blaze at around 4.15am, and that firefighters arrived on the scene shortly afterwards to put it out.
However, the fire destroyed the lorry, the trailer and the car, all of which belonged to a 62-year-old man.
Later on Saturday, Paphos police assistant operations director Michalis Nikolaou said preliminary investigations into the matter indicate the fire may have been deliberately set.
He said the lorry was doused in “flammable material”, and that the fire then spread to the trailer and the car.
The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
