A charity neighbourhood event all about turning Pedieos River into a fun playground for all is coming up this month. Organised by Protovoulia Drasis Archangelou, the Afternoon Project and the Deviants group, the Pedieos Playground event will add a vibrant spirit to a Nicosia neighbourhood, filling it with music, food, activities and good vibes.

The event takes place on Saturday, March 28, between 2pm and 10pm, at the park next to the basketball court on Pyrrou Street in Archangelos. There is access to the location via the Linear Park bridge, where a series of events for old and young will unfold throughout the day.

The programme includes a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a lake tour, DJ sets, food and drinks stands, workshops by local creatives, pop-up markets with artisans, and activities for all ages. All of the proceeds raised throughout the event will go towards upgrading the park and supporting efforts to protect and restore the lake.
