Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally-sustainable airline — according to CAPA, Centre for Aviation Awards for Excellence 2024 — has announced a key update to its customer support options as it continues to enhance its service offerings.
The airline has discontinued its premium-rate call centre number, ensuring no customers are charged the premium rate fees. Cypriot customers can now visit the new Wizz Air Help Centre for more information as to the best number to contact, with charges based on local rates.
For access to the quickest and easiest help and support, Wizz Air is advising passengers to use its online self-service platform, available through the Wizz Air website or mobile app. From here, customers can manage their bookings, obtain information about their flights, make changes, request refunds, or handle issues relating to delays or cancellations.
Customers can request 24/7 information about booking, flight status, baggage and WIZZ services through the airline’s online chatbot, Amelia. For more complex inquiries, live chat agents are also on hand 24/7 to provide assistance.
“We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible travel experience,” said Wizz Air Customer Experience Head Boglarka Spak. “Customer service has been in the focus for the airline; today’s announcement is just one example of the enhancements we are making in this area. We are continuing to invest in innovations to ensure we can deliver for our customers around the world.”
Customer service remains an important area of investment for Wizz Air and the airline is continuously developing innovations to improve the experience it offers to passengers. Last year, Wizz Air launched the Amelia Voice Service, which gives customers automated updates about their booking, providing essential information and guidance in the event of any disruption to their flight.
