AEGEAN announces the launch of the new cycle of its Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Programme, offering young individuals the chance to pursue a career in civil aviation.
Since 2018 for pilots, and 2022 for engineers, the programme has been a unique gateway to education and immediate employment in one of the most fast-growing industries in Europe and worldwide. It is part of AEGEAN’s commitment to supporting youth and employment in Greece, while supporting critical aviation professions, as this year the company celebrates 25 years of successful operation.
The application period for the Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Programme, offered in collaboration with the well-known Olympic Air Maintenance Training Organisation, started on January 16, 2025, and will run until February 21, 2025. Lessons will begin on Monday, April 28, 2025.

The 24-month training programme combines theoretical lessons and practical, on-the-job training at AEGEAN’s new Technical Base, providing 20 participants the opportunity to complete their education for obtaining the B1.1 Category Aircraft Maintenance License (Part-66).
The scholarship programme supports 50 per cent of the tuition fees, while the three top performing graduates will receive additional funding covering 100 per cent, 75 per cent, or 50 per cent of their tuition fees, based on their academic performance.
Graduates have access to direct employment opportunities, as they can join AEGEAN’s team and start their career path at AEGEAN Technics upon obtaining their licences.
The application period began on Thursday, January 16, and will run until Friday, February 21, 2025. Candidates are welcome to submit applications by completing the relevant form on AEGEAN’s website.
