An underage teenager was found driving his parents’ car down a main road in Paphos on Thursday night, police said on Friday.
During routine checks, traffic police officers spotted a car being driven at high speed along the Tombs of the Kings road.
When officers stopped the driver to check, they discovered a 16-year-old behind the wheel.
He evidently had no licence or insurance.
The car was seized and his father called to the central Paphos police station.
The same police checks found two people driving under the influence of drugs, while a further 23 drivers were charged with lesser offences.
