A.I. Motokinisi Ltd, the official representative of Porsche cars in Cyprus, announced at an event held at its Nicosia showroom it will further strengthen its collaboration with SupportCY, an initiative of the Bank of Cyprus (BoC).
A.I. Motokinisi Ltd reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to supporting the local community through initiatives that promote safety, education and wellbeing.
As part of its collaboration with SupportCY, which effectively supports government services and the local community in times of crisis and emergencies, the company organised two interactive road safety seminars for four- to eight-year-olds in Nicosia and Limassol. The seminars aimed to develop road awareness among young participants.

During the event, A.I. Motokinisi Ltd also donated high-tech fire-resistant protective suits and specialised equipment to the Volunteer Corps of SupportCY. This equipment will enhance the safety and effectiveness of the volunteers, strengthening the Rapid Response Unit in emergency situations.
In her event address, A.I. Motokinisi Ltd Marketing and PR Manager Pavlina Iacovidou highlighted the core values inherited from the Company’s founders, Alkis and Nina Iacovidou, emphasising the intention to continue their legacy.

“With this initiative, we wish to recognise the invaluable work carried out by the members of the Volunteer Corps of SupportCY, and contribute to our own mission of actively supporting the safety and wellbeing of our community,” she added.
Marketing and PR Manager Iacovidou also presented an honorary plaque to BoC Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Elli Ioannidou, as a token of appreciation for SupportCY’s significant work.

In her own address, Ioannidou offered an overview of the volunteer network’s creation and impact, and the next phase of its partnership with A.I. Motokinisi.
“The creation of SupportCY in early March 2020 by the Bank of Cyprus, with the sole purpose of supporting government services in addressing the pandemic, was a significant milestone in the Bank’s history,” she said. “Today’s event is part of the growth and success of SupportCY, which fosters collaboration between the private sector and the state for the benefit of our society,” she continued.
“Our partnership with A.I. Motokinisi Ltd is further strengthened today on multiple levels; this plaque belongs to every volunteer of the SupportCY Volunteer Corps, and we sincerely thank A.I. Motokinisi Ltd for this excellent cooperation.”
The event concluded with thanks to partners, volunteers and media representatives, and with A.I. Motokinisi Ltd reaffirming its commitment to working towards a safer, more responsible future.
