Paphos police on Saturday night stopped a driver who was five times over the drink driving limit.

At around 8.15, members of the traffic police stopped a 26-year-old on Nestoras road in Paphos.

An alcotest showed a reading of 111µg whereas the permitted level is 22µg.

The driver was then asked to take a second alcotest but he refused, at which point the police arrested him.
