Sunshine in the morning will give way to cloud in the afternoon on Sunday, especially in the mountains, foothills and some areas inland with temperatures higher than on Saturday.

With the start of the week, an unstable air mass is due to pass over Cyprus, bringing with it isolated showers and even storms in the afternoons inland and up the mountains on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Sunday, the cloudy afternoon is expected to remain throughout the evening, especially on the west coast.

Temperatures will rise to average levels for the time of year, reaching between 32 and 35C inland, 29-32C on the coast and 21C in the mountains.
