The awards ceremony for students who excelled in district, Pancyprian and international mathematics competitions was held in a packed auditorium at the Bank of Cyprus (BoC) headquarters. The event was organised by the Cyprus Mathematical Society, with the Bank’s support and cooperation.

BoC has long invested in the next generation, encouraging the development of knowledge and skills in the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship and Mathematics. In this context, it has been a steadfast supporter of the Cyprus Mathematical Society since its early days, actively contributing to the implementation and strengthening of its initiatives.

Before the awards ceremony, there were also side events, such as a Rubik’s Cube competition and the JOEY memory game, with participants having the chance to compete and win prizes.

The strong presence of parents, guardians and teachers highlighted their crucial role in supporting the children and fostering their progress.
