Today’s weather: Dust at times, slightly cooler

On Friday the weather will be mostly clear although thin dust will be observed at times. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and strong, up to 5 Beaufort on the leeward coast. The sea will be somewhat rough. Temperatures will rise to 35C in the interior, 34C on the north coasts, 30C on the southeast and east coasts, 29C on the remaining coasts and 25C in the higher mountains.

Overnight the weather will turn mostly clear after temporarily increased clouds in the evening. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 20C in the interior, the southeast, east and north coasts, 19C on the remaining coasts and 16C in the higher mountains.

On Saturday dust is expected to subside and increased cloud cover will be observed in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and  southeast, with a chance of isolated rains. On Sunday and Monday the weather will be partly cloudy and with isolated rains or a storm possible, mainly in the mountains and the east.

Temperatures are expected to drop gradually through Sunday, remaining stable through Monday, below the average for the season.
