Seven charged over illegal gambling in Paphos

As part of an operation to combat gambling, police officers raided a coffee shop in Kato Paphos on Sunday afternoon where they found six people playing poker, police said on Monday.

All six and the manager of the coffee shop were charged in writing to appear in court at a later date. Playing cards and gambling chips were taken away as evidence.

Police investigations continue.
