A 33-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of stealing electronics from a store, confessed to four burglaries in Famagusta, according to a police announcement issued on Monday.

The Famagusta resident was arrested on Sunday following evidence linking him to a case of theft from a store selling electronic items between April 5 and 6 this year.

The crime was reported to the police earlier this month by the owner of the store.

During questioning, the suspect allegedly admitted to committing four cases of burglary and theft from houses and buildings in the Famagusta area, all during April.
