Yes, you read that right. A festival dedicated to laughing and comedy is arriving in the capital and it will be a two-day occasion. On May 19 and 20, STS Events presents the Laughter Festival at Skali Aglandjias, collaborating with Co.media, Motion Comedy and P.P Petrides Events. Split into three parts, the festival will entertain audiences by presenting established and amateur comedians, opening up the floor to the public.

Commencing the festival on May 19 at 9.30pm will be the renowned Greek comedian Sofia Moutidou who will perform her final show in Cyprus, concluding her 10 Years of Sofia tour. Day one of the festival will see her present her top monologues and best hilarious stories that have entertained audiences in Greece and Cyprus.

Day two will begin at 7.30pm hosting an open mic for emerging comics and those who want to get a taste of the comedy scene. Then at 9.30pm, Ira Katsouda, accompanied by comedians of the local scene will present a line-up show with the ‘best of’ pieces.
