Police on Friday began a new search for Andreas Perikleous, who has been missing from his Limassol home for two weeks now.

Efforts were underway at Governor’s Beach in Limassol, where officers are trying to locate his body. The main suspect, a 24-year-old hacker, is facing charges of premeditated murder.

Police on the scene were there with specially trained police dogs as well as drones. The suspect is refusing to cooperate.drones, command centre, Perikleous, Andreas Perikleous, missing person, police

The search is focused on two main areas: where Perikleous’ phone last had a signal and where a vehicle was found that the suspect was driving.

Earlier this week, the 24-year-old’s uncle testified that his nephew woke him up at gunpoint, confessed to the murder and forced him to help burn Perikleous’ car.

When Perikleous had been reported missing, it emerged he and the suspect had driven off together to resolve their differences.

In total, six individuals have been arrested for the case, including his mother, who is facing charges of covering up for her son. Three of the suspects have been released.
