63 migrants arrive in Larnaca (updated)

ΑΦΙΞΗ ΑΤΥΠΩΝ ΜΕΤΑΝΑΣΤΩΝ ΣΤΗ ΛΑΡΝΑΚΑ

Sixty-three irregular migrants arrived by boat on Tuesday afternoon in Larnaca.

The group arrived in a large wooden boat at around 3.50pm at the fishing harbour area in Larnaca.

It was initially announced that 40 people were onboard, but authorities later said 63 were in the boat – 17 children, 13 women and 33 men.

Police and other competent authorities went on site to register their information and find out where they arrived from and other details.
