Police on Thursday reported the theft of 150 rabbits from an orchard in Limassol.

According to the police, during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday unknown perpetrators entered an enclosure in a rural area between Moni and Pyrgos, belonging to a 68-year-old man, and stole the rabbits, valued at around €3,000.

From police investigations at the scene so far, it appears the perpetrators forced open the orchard gate by bodily strength.
