New puppy training: teaching your pooch their name

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

As we learn, an important component of the process is incorporating movement, to maximise your pup’s attention and focus, while tuning out potential distractions – an important skill for when your pooch is exposed to the busy, and unfamiliar world, and away from the more controlled environment of your home.
