Halloween events are back

The spookiest time of the year is here. For just one weekend, Halloween fun will spread around the island with all sorts of events. Get ready to carve pumpkins, dance in your best Halloween costume and get crafty with skeletons, spiders and witches.

All weekend long, the Cyherbia Botanical Park in Avgorou will bring out its best spooky attire and décor as it hosts the Halloween Family Festival. Activities will take place on Saturday and Sunday, ensuring fun times for all ages. A spooky storytelling quest, a pumpkin-carving workshop, an alchemy show, magic potions and many more Halloween-themed activities will celebrate the last weekend of October and its spooky tales.

In Limassol, another weekend event will invite families to partake in Halloween fun. The 6^th Autumn Festival Halloween Edition by Inspired Family Fun will take place at the Limassol National Forest Park. From 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, games, competitions, rides and more will take place. The festival’s activities include trick or treating, parrot shows, a fun fair, trampolines and spooky corners.

Back in the capital city, Nostalgia Parties will host its 9^th annual Halloween party on Saturday night at the iconic Antonakis Music Hall. From 9pm onwards, a night of chills and thrills will commence, welcoming party-goers in their best Halloween attire or as themselves. DJs Anthony 642 and Claudio will play 70s and 80s disco specials to get the crowd up and dancing.

Malls around the island will also have fun Halloween activities for children this weekend. At the Mall of Cyprus, kid’s games and crafts will take place from 3pm to 6pm, engaging little ones in crafty sessions, body painting, fairy tales with witches, making clay pumpkins and seizing the day with a photoshoot. Halloween events will take place also at Kings Avenue Mall in Paphos and My Mall Limassol this weekend, extending the Halloween fun to all!

With a charitable cause is the Halloween Pop-Up Party by the House of Fairies. In celebration of the candle business’ 1^st birthday, the House of Fairies organises an event this Sunday with 10 local brands from all over Cyprus at 26 Commandarias Street in Limassol. Running from 11am to 8pm, the event has a fundraising purpose as a creative corner for pumpking painting will raise proceeds for the Siruius Dog Sanctuary.
