The party never stops at Savino Live as local bands, musicians and comedians perform back to back. Keeping the spirits high and the music even higher, Savino has planned funky events for almost every day of December until it is time to bid farewell to 2021. Here are some of its stand-out shows.

First up is the popular Cypriot band Monsieur Doumani playing one of their uplifting live sets on December 22. Doors will open at 9pm yet the music won’t kick off until an hour later and reservations are advised as there is limited seating. On December 24, a Christmas Eve party with local band Blackout will take place. The seven-piece reggae and ska band based in Larnaca will take the stage at 11pm yet the party will start at 10pm. Performing covers, remakes and some originals, Blackout will put on a reggae and ska-infused Christmas Eve party, a rare one for the holiday season promising to be fun to the max.

Two more live gigs are scheduled for December 26 and 29 but on Thursday 30 it won’t be music that will fill Savino’s walls but laughter, hopefully. A stand-up comedy night in English is coming up as comedian Irene Orphanides takes the mic. “I’m fifty,” she writes on the event’s description. “I never thought I would make it up to here! I am big-boned, and I have had enough time for a lot of things to get on my nerves. Come along and have some fun and drinks.” Also taking the stage on that evening is special guest Florin Cimpoca for more comedy fun.

Finally, to say goodbye to this year Savino Live is planning a wicked New Year’s Eve party with the well-known band Fuse. On December 31 from 10pm onwards, an explosive live rock extravaganza is expected at Larnaca’s rock bar. The music will start just as the New Year rolls in but the party will already be on. Just remember to buy your ticket online on www.tickethour.com.cy and reserve a table for a rockin’ good time.
