Coronavirus: 17 individuals fined, no businesses

Police handed out 17 fines in the past 24 hours for Covid measure violations after carrying out 2,159 inspections.

In Nicosia, 551 inspections resulted in two individuals being fined; in Limassol, after 136 inspections four were fined; in Larnaca 477 checks were made resulting in six fines; in Paphos after 220 checks one person was fined while in Famagusta four were fined after 458 checks. In Morphou, 119 inspections were carried out without fines.

No fines were issued to any establishment.

Meanwhile, traffic police carried out 165 checks and port police 33 checks without any bookings.
