Coronavirus: 22 booked for violating measures

One business and 21 people were booked for violating coronavirus measures in the past 24 hours, police said.

Between 6am on Friday morning to 6am Saturday morning, police said they performed 3,688 checks, 704 of which were in Nicosia, 585 in Limassol, 603 in Larnaca, 686 in Famagusta, 414 in Paphos and 309 in Morphou.

One business and two people were booked in Nicosia, three in Larnaca, nine in Famagusta, seven in Paphos and none in Limassol and Morphou.

Traffic police conducted 385 inspections and marine police 48, with no violations detected.
