Petrol stations association in the north threatens to close its pumps

The “association” of petrol stations in the north has threatened to close its petrol stations after the decision by petroleum suppliers to reduce the time frame for repayment.

As reported in the north, owners of petrol stations have refused to buy stocks from the company K-Pet, and as a result the company in question has behaved vindictively, creating a problem in the way of buying petroleum products, Cyprus News Agency (CNA) said.

At a meeting of K-Pet company petrol station owners yesterday, it was reported that the repayment of the purchase of petroleum products will be reduced from 21 days to 7 days.

It was decided at the meeting that action including closure of petrol stations would be taken.
