IDEA calls startups to heed incubator application deadline

Are you a young person dreaming of making your business ideas come true? Do you want your ideas to come alive in the form of a startup, with all the support and assistance you need? Then look no further than the IDEA Innovation Centre – the largest incubator and entrepreneurship hub in Cyprus.

To date, IDEA has supported the establishment of 58 startups and the creation of more than 80 new jobs.

In 2019 IDEA received an award from the European Commission for being the best, Europe-wide, in promoting entrepreneurial skills. It has also received from the Cyprus Responsible Business Awards the Gold Award for Excellence in Cooperation, and the Silver Award for Cause Advocacy.

For the sixth year in a row, IDEA has been affording startups the opportunity to come to life and grow, providing them a broad range of support tools.

University Students Doing Group Study

Through its nine-month programme, IDEA offers startups:

  • €12,000 in seed capital
  • Integrated practical training to set up a business
  • Mentoring from accomplished entrepreneurs in niche areas
  • Consultancy services for business, legal, accounting, marketing and ICT matters
  • Free use of fully-equipped, state-of-the-art office premises
  • Business opportunities and connections to entrepreneurs
  • Networking with key individuals, access to potential investors
  • Guidance on EU programmes
  • Major promotion opportunities overseas

IDEA has the full support of Bank of Cyprus, which leads the way in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the digital transformation of Cyprus. The Centre also enjoys support from other important partners, including: Lellos P. Demetriades, CYTA, Deloitte, and Invest Cyprus.
