UCY film aims to explore impact of pandemic on student life

The University of Cyprus (UCY) has made public a film titled “Universities: Back to normal?” which explores the impacts of Covid-19 on the field of higher education, taking in its scope the financial, psychological, and pedagogical issues facing students in the wake of the pandemic.

Among other things, participants discuss the effects on students and educators, distance learning, introduction of new technological tools, and resultant changes on university life.

The 40-minute programme was filmed at the UCY’s audiovisual production studio with the participation from law student Irini Christophorou and sociology and political science student Marios Hatzielia.

Coordination was undertaken by journalist Giorgos Pavlidis and production by the UCY IT Information services.
