Continuing its dynamic course and promise to modernise public transport, Cyprus Public Transport (CPT) is reaching another milestone, bringing the first full-length electric urban buses to the country. These buses feature the latest available technology and meet the highest European standards.

CPT’s investment in the future of sustainable green mobility has seen it purchase the island’s first five electric urban buses for Nicosia and Larnaca, fulfilling its commitment to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

“The Company is very excited to be able to provide the passengers of Cyprus the opportunity to use the most quiet buses, with the latest technology,” noted CPT CEO Julio Tironi.

“As always, we will continue to provide Cyprus with European-standard public transportation, sustainable mobility and the best overall customer experience.”
