Man remanded after theft of motorcycles worth €19,000

Police on Saturday said that a 28-year-old man appeared before the district court of Paphos for an ongoing investigation into a burglary and the theft of two motorcycles.

According to Paphos police spokesperson Michalis Nicolaou, three arrest warrants were issued for individuals aged 20, 23, and 28, respectively, in connection with the case.

The burglary of the building took place on May 20-21 in Paphos, during which two racing motorcycles with a total value of €19,000 were stolen.

A five-day detention order was issued by the Paphos court against the 28-year-old suspect to facilitate the investigation, while the other two suspects, aged 20 and 23, remain at large.
