Suspect arrested in Paphos for multiple thefts

Police on Thursday night arrested a 41-year-old man in Paphos for cases of burglary and theft under investigation.

According to police spokesman Michalis Nicolaou, at 9.40pm members of the crime prevention unit identified the 41-year-old permanent resident, against whom warrants were pending for two cases of house burglary, three cases of theft from vehicles, and one case of unlawful possession of property.

The offences were committed in the Paphos district between January 31 and April 14 .

The case is under ongoing investigation.
