Police arrest man with dozens of firecrackers

Police in Larnaca arrested a 21-year-old found in possession of explosives, authorities said on Monday.

According to police, the 21-year-old man was found in Larnaca area on Sunday evening. Officer pulled his car over and during checks on the vehicle, they found 40 firecrackers and seven smoke bombs.

The man was arrested, taken to the police station, charged, and released, after police seized the items, he was found with.
