Minister of Education to pay official visit to Israel

Education Minister Costas Kadis, under pressure

Minister of Education and Culture, Costas Kadis, departed for Israel where he will pay a two-day official visit, from 22-23 June.

During his visit, Kadis and the Israeli Minister of Education, Naftali Bennett, will sign a new programme of cooperation between the two countries for the years 2016-2019, in the fields of culture, education and science.

The Minister will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Yad Vashem Museum, to continue cooperation between the two sides in the promotion of common goals related to Holocaust education.

Kadis will also meet with the Minister of Culture and Sport, Miri Regev, and will visit Higher Education institutions of Israel.

The Minister returns home on Friday, 24 June.
