Jailed for importing steroids

A 43-YEAR-OLD Greek national was jailed for two and a half months on Monday for importing steroids to Cyprus.

Nicolas Mouzakitis was arrested at Larnaca airport in July, shortly after arriving from Athens.

Customs and drug squad officers found 114 boxes of steroids in various forms.

The defendant told police he was planning to sell the steroids to people involved in body building competitions.
