Anastasiades due to meet Prince Charles in Malta

President Nicos Anastasiades was to meet Prince Charles in Valletta, Malta, on Friday night, before attending a dinner for the leaders of Commonwealth states, hosted by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth.

On the agenda at the Commonwealth summit were climate change, terrorism, the migrant wave sweeping Europe, and sustainable development.

According to state television, Anastasiades was expected to brief Prince Charles on progress in negotiations for a settlement of the Cyprus problem.
