German discount supermarket Lidl will open a new shop in Ypsonas this Thursday, the company announced on Tuesday.

Shoppers will enjoy a 10 per cent discount on all purchases on the store’s first day of operation, the company said. A 25 per cent discount will be afforded on all bakery products until December 21.

The opening will feature free drinks and snacks, and music, and Santa Claus.

The new supermarket is located at 57, Elias Kannaourou street in Ypsonas and is open daily from 7.30am to 8pm. The shop is the 15th Lidl outlet to open in Cyprus.
