Have you always wanted to be part of a theatrical performance but never thought you had much of a talent for it, or an opportunity just didn’t come your way? Well, now it has, courtesy of The Performance Shop in Limassol and director Lia Haraki.
The concept – thought up by Haraki – sees the spectator become active. A maximum of 12 people who are willing to play and be involved in a fictional situation can take part.
The show (it can’t really be called a performance, as it has no set direction) is based on what Haraki calls transformation. These transactions, on which each active spectator plays off, soon become the common code for everyone in the room.
The audience becomes active by going through different realities which deal with their own limits related to existential and political issues.
