Friend of missing woman issues ‘come home’ plea

Annie Constantinou

GEORGIA Agrios, a close friend of Annie Constantinou who has been reported missing since Tuesday, appealed on Thursday for her to come home.

“I understand how you feel,” was the message she wanted send to her friend. “If you have problems there is help which we will find. Just come home to your family.”

“Though I haven’t seen her for some time, we were very good friends,” Agrios said, adding that she hoped Constantinou would see her message.

Constantinou, 47, has been missing from her house in Nicosia since Tuesday morning. She is described as 1.65m tall, with red hair.

Police are urging anyone who possesses any information that could help trace her to contact the Nicosia CID at 22802222 or the nearest police station, or to call 1460.
